Big Church Festival - 28th - 30 August, Wiston Estate, West Sussex

The Big Church Festival (formerly Big Church Day Out) is the UK’s largest annual Christian music festival, bringing over 35,000 people together for a weekend of worship, community, and celebration.

The best way to describe Big Church Festival is a combination of a music festival and a massive church fete.

At Big Church there are lots of different music stages with different types of Christian music (from string quartets, to rap, worship music like you might hear at Barn Church, and some acts like Rend Collective and Bethel Music). Outside of music there are loads of fun activities to do (see link).

We will be camping as Barn Church - Big Church provide toilets and showers and we will create a small communal and cooking area for us. We would probably eat breakfast together and an evening meal, with lunch being available from the onsite food vans (or feel free to bring your own). This is a great time to get to know each other and have some fun together – there is always something fun to do around the campsite if you choose.

Typically people arrive sometime on the Friday, the festival is on the Saturday and Sunday and then people leave on the (Bank Holiday) Monday morning.

This year you have to buy a weekend ticket, but the Wiston Estate is closes enough to come for the day (or both)
